CHAISE LONGUE

Innovation in boat furnishing

In 16th century France. Furniture craftsmen devised the chaise longue for the rich to rest without the need to retire to the bedroom.

Mothership Marine chaise longues can have one or two ends and have been designed to make best use of the space available on a narrowboat whilst maintaining the horizontal lines along the boat that accentuate a feeling of space.

At night the ends fold down to form a full length bed. Underneath is ample storage which is voluminous and easily accessible.

The area, with the addition of a table, is converted into a dining table with 6 place settings.

We can provide you with a fully upholstered version or a version in calico for you to upholster.
